Economics threatens Second Life surfing
Economic pressures are taking their toll on surf sims in Second Life and it seems certain that more surf sims will close during the coming months. Rezzable, one of Second Life's leading sim owner/developers, announced the closing of Surfline Aloha and Surfline Epic sims on Saturday, half-way through what has been a very up and down year for Rezzable's Second Life surfing venture.

A bumper Second Life surfing season draws to a close!
Last night's 2008 Second Life Surfing Association (SLSA) Season One Champion Awards Party officially marked the end of the year's first Second Life surfing season with Second Life resident Pova Rustamova being declared the season champion, after tablulating the results of the first five Second Life surfing competitions of 2008.
